Orange County Parks Halloween Happenings

HerOrange County Parkse are a few fun Halloween events for the entire family at Orange County Parks:

Friday, Oct. 18, 6:00 p.m.: Magnolia Park’s 13th Annual Pumpkin Fest & Hayride, 2929 S. Binion Rd., Apopka, 407-886-4231; cost: $3 per child (ages up to 16), adults free.

Saturday, October 19, 7:00 p.m.: Fort Gatlin Rec Complex’s Spooktacular, featuring a haunted house and scavenger hunt, 2009 Lake Margaret Dr., Orlando, 407-254-9820; cost: $6 per child, grades K – 5th only, call to register.

Friday, Oct. 25, 6:30 p.m.: Fort Gatlin Rec Complex’s Lil’ Ghosts & Goblins, featuring a costume parade and games, 2009 Lake Margaret Dr., Orlando, 407-254-9820; cost: $6 per child, ages 1 – 5 only, call to register.

Saturday, Oct. 26, 5:30 p.m.: Bithlo Park’s Movie in the Park, featuring “Hotel Transylvania” and costume contest, 18501 Washington Ave., Orlando, 407-254-1905; free event.
